John Samways migrated from New Zealand in 1979 as a qualified carpenter and joiner. He has always been driven to be his own boss and he is someone who thrives on the challenge of succeeding. John directs and manages the Samways team as a whole actively providing collaborative support and corroboration. With over 30 years in business experience, John drives the overall direction of Samways. He is a strong forward thinker passionate about building and sustaining relationships.

Derek Taylor has had various roles within Samways since 1999 and over the years, he has gained extensive knowledge and experience of retail fit-outs. As General Manager, Derek deals with the day to day operations of Samways and works closely with the Construction manager providing collaborative support and knowledge to the construction team.

As National Construction Manager, Trent Collins actively participates in the construction of all projects. Trent has extensive experience in all aspects of the building industry having gained numerous qualifications, licences and accreditations. He is in constant contact with his team, as his key role is to ensure our clients requirements and expectations have been accurately identified to ensure we are meeting or exceeding our client’s expectations.
